Here are some rules if you and your friends want to play casually and follow the tournament.
One-on-One Matchup
- 25-card Arsenal minimum
- 4VP gladiators not allowed
- CP = The highest VP of a gladiator (or of both if tied) +1 per wave
for the first 4 waves
After the 4th wave, CP starts to go down: +3 on 5th wave, +2 on 6th wave, +1 on 7th wave, and +0 on 8th wave
(So on 3rd wave you get +3 CP, 4th wave +4, 5th wave +3, and so forth) - 8 wave limit
- Hand Size = 4 Cards
- Bonus = 1 Card
- Promote as normal, but if you are out of higher levels for your
gladiator and cannot promote, i.e. 4th Level, you heal 1 wound
automatically during the Promote step
- The Gladiator with the lowest VP decides who starts the wave
- 2 cheer is generated for attacking an unset character
- 1 cheer is generated for attacking a set character
- other cheer rules are normal
- You can use one of your gladiator's disciplines
- You can have another discipline in your arsenal, scrapheap, and hand
- When you play a restricted discipline, you get disqualified and your
opponent wins the match
- when you use an ability that triggers off using a restricted
discipline, you get disqualified i.e. Bull's Eye's Deck Cycle for gaining
a CP from a Cybernetics card if he were only playing Mystic.
- Disqualifications have the highest precedence for responses
