Usually, life doesn’t give you second chances … but this time I got one.
There was I, lying on the cold pit rocks with blood all over those rocks coming out of my body. My consciousness was almost out. My best friend was missing as a result of being shot by my girlfriend. In my head, the only thought that I had was that this was a NO-WAY-OUT situation.
My body temperature was quickly falling as my blood was running fast out of my body. I was shivering and shaking. Then, the time around me froze. I sensed my existence leave the old shell that was my wounded body.
Then it all became dark …
