Biography
An ambitious judge, Cyre Nilee was part of a small group of judges that committed vigilante murders and after seventeen killings, he had the group disbanded so it could not cause problems for his career advancement when he became head of The Vanguard Order when he lost the use of his legs after receiving a back injury when wounded in the line of duty. He moved around using an anti-gravity wheelchair and became renowned for his strict discipline. He became TVO's longest-serving head, serving fourteen years. He occasionally used the wealth of confidential information at his disposal to play power games with other judges to increase his own influence. One notable example of this is when, to avenge herself on Dorbin Prictor for a perceived slight against him, he orchestrated a disciplinary investigation which almost led to Dorbin Prictor resignation from the Kistarbak Law Council.

Recently it was discovered to be illicitly keeping sensitive information on other senior judges, and when Gerald Grunt succeeded him as chief of the Vanguard Order, Grunt immediately had Cyre arrested and investigated by the TVO. On trial, Cyre defended himself with skill and defiance as he briskly and brusquely discredited what had initially seemed to be overwhelming evidence, reducing the prosecution case to nothing more than empty innuendo, and claiming that the charge was politically motivated. Although Cyre was acquitted of all criminal charges, he was still dismissed from office and was sentenced to become a Gladiator on the Ophidian Arenas.
