Yay, our scheduled maintenance is now completed, sort off, but more on that later. the important thing is that we're back with some amazing news for all Ophidian universe fans.
One of the first things you may notice now on our site is a brand new layout full of goodies that weren't there before but were already part of our offerings. But our main tread is the return of the Fictions to our site! Finally, the fictions are back, and in the next couple of months I hope to start releasing new and never released before material, but first (to be defined, but soon) I will rerelease some of our best fictions for the new viewers and fans.
Also starting next Friday we will also see the return of the OGN GLADIATOR SPOTLIGHT biographies, and then the next Monday we will see the return of the fan-favorite Facebook event Monday’s Ophidian Turmoil, that weekly pits in a poll 2 Gladiators to determine the champion.
As for new content, I am proud to add two brand new sections - Downloads and Card Spotlight.
The Downloads section, currently is just a placeholder, as during the time of our existence supporting Ophidian Games I created a ton... well not a ton per se, but a considerable quantities of print and play material that ranged from Ophidian 2350 CCG expansion sets to the very limited release of the infamous Get With the Flow... (an Ophidian 2355) RPG and even a couple of Ophidian Wars expansions that currently do not have a home. And due to the new feature of TheGameCrafter that allows us to release downloadable files for free of charge, I will slowly start updating our print and play material starting with this year's Halloween gift.
The Card Spotlight was something cool that existed on the original 2003 Ophidian Games page, and now I plan to bring those back, but again the start of their release is still to be determined.
Moving on, and to be straight clear, even though Hack and Slash Games' ArenaVerse isn't part of the Ophidian Universe storywise, their cards and content are 100% compatible with ours Ophidian 2350 CCG and Ophidian 2360 games, as that they get an exclusive section just for their public updates. And with that, it ends the site updates for now. I still have more stuff that I want to implement but for now, I am pretty happy with the final results.
On the Facebook side of the updates, things where smoother as the major changes where just internally with reassigning the page roles. The only major change to the public was the addition of the button Learn More that redirects directly to our site. And with this, we end our maintenance report log.
