Arenaverse Update - We're Back
Hi everyone,
I know it's been far too long since our last update (multiple cancer scares, job loss, long COVID, and a challenging industry environment have all contributed to the delays), and I owe you all a proper explanation and status report.
The short version: I'm alive, I'm actively working on Arenaverse, and I'm making real progress.
I've been head-down finishing the card artwork and layouts. The Homeworlds set alone has had over half of its artwork updated/replaced, and we have several new artists as well. We've also restructured the other expansions quite heavily to make the printing smoother. We now have over 100 different Gladiators and Reinforcements! The quality has improved dramatically from our original vision.
I'm leading the production side and our goal is to have this shipping by December.
Due to increased tariff costs affecting the gaming industry, we're trying something new: offering pickup options at conventions and other centralized locations to help avoid higher shipping costs for backers who are interested.
Starting in the coming weeks, I'll be providing biweekly updates with concrete progress reports, artwork previews, and a clear path to completion and fulfillment. The next update will be on Friday, September 5th.
I know trust needs to be rebuilt after this long silence, and I'm committed to transparent, regular communication moving forward.
