Ophidian Arena UPDATE #2 We did it! Funded in less than 12 hours!

Amazing!

We're funded, and we're already closing on our first stretch goal, Savage Charge!

Unstoppable teeth!

What's next?

We'll continue to unveil new stretch goals as they unlock.  Please spread the word, and help us get to some of these great new cards!
We're also going to add some short stories to our updates, our first one below was written by Mim Paquin.

...the Story Continues...

“Can’t tell if it’s sweat or blood dripping in my mouth, in my eyes. If it is blood, whose blood is it? I can’t see, I can’t tell!” D’runna says in a melodic grunt as Sh’ana pulls her to her feet with a hand-grip and tug.  “It’s red blood, not orange. Can’t be yours” Sh’ana breathlessly replies as she gathers spit in her mouth. She spits on D’runna’s face and cleans it off. D’runna winces with each glob of spit spray hits her face. “At least my spit is clean.” says Sh’ana. D’runna nods, “It is. Tastes pretty good too, for a human.” Licking her lips again, savoring the taste, “Too good.” Sh’ana exchanges a glance of admonition “I’m not on the menu.” “Ready to fight! To your feet!” Max barks, tossing his axe from palm to palm, swaying from foot to foot.
The red clouds of smoke and amber dust begin to settle on the arena floor carrying the stench of death down with them. “HOORahRah! HOORahRah!” Roaring cheer swells from the crowd impatiently waiting for the next wave of fighting to begin.
An overpowering blare honks from the translator monitors and crescendos above the cheer. The crowds in the arena collectively begin to quiet as each pauses to await the next wave announcement. The broadcast is sent directly to audience translation devices. Like a wave of echoes dialect reverberates off the stone walls— a cacophony of linguistic dentals, glottals and sound eventually find its way to the gladiator’s tunnels. “Sounds like the breather ‘s done. Lickin’ time ‘s over” Max says powering up his axe.
An overpowering sustained horn bellows into the gladiator tunnel. The three exchange glances. The Conqueror eagerly rushes ahead of them shouting, “See you in the arena!”

Thanks to everyone who has supported us so far, and here's to more Ophidian success!
