As most of you know our gaming universe started way back in 2003 with the release of Ophidian 2350 CCG, the undisputable best card game ever created due to its uniqueness for being the first Real-Time Card Game that didn't use turns, but I am diverging from the main topic today.
When I was a young kid I loved my G.I. Joe action figures, as well as my Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, not only due to them being some really cool toys with really cool stories but also due to the simple fact that most of those action figures had something special print that featured a numbered point box on the back of their card-pack or boxes that allowed us to collect and after a certain amount of point we were able to redeem those points and get a new figure or other cool things. That was called a redeemable point system, and even some old CCGs like Legends of the Five Rings or Rage also had a system like that for me, that was something that I greatly miss, nowadays due to how card games are marketed and sold (yes, I am talking to you Kickstarter games!!!) lost that childhood magic.
Until now, as I am bringing to the Ophidian Universe the Ophidian Credit Points System (OCPS), meaning that from now on, all the Ophidian Universe releases, no matter what brand/franchise they are, as long as its setting is on the Ophidian Universe you will get one Ophidian Credit Points card with a numbered value printed on it. As an example, you can see the image card above for the first OCPS card that you will find on our latest release - Ophidian Wars Hallowed Arenas, now available here!
As for what things you can redeem with the Ophidian Credit Points System, I am still trying to figure out what can I do and what I cannot, as I want to bring the back magic by giving for FREE to all the fans of this awesome universe something cool, unique and with in-game value no matter what brand or franchise of your preference, meaning that I plan to have something for all of you Ophidian 2350 CCG fans, and for you Ophidian Wars fans, and for you, Ophidian 2360 fans and even for the upcoming Ophidian Redux wich will release next month with Ophidian Redux: Legacy of the Arenas and the mass release of Get with the Flow... an Ophidian 2355 Role Playing Game next year. Those prizes will change in due time, but nothing crazy, giving enough time to anyone to collect their stack of OCPS without breaking the bank.
